Home Remodeling

by JR

Hi,

As one commenter noticed, I put Omaha Remodeling as the title, and yes, I am in Omaha.  Though, this information can really help anyone doing a home remodeling project.  I just want to share what I learn and hope that someone else finds it useful.

Home remodeling is such a big deal today.  With the economy like it is, we need to shore-up our own homes and get ready for whatever lies ahead.  Plus, there are so many different parts of remodeling, where do you start?

- Putting on an addition
- Remodeling the kitchen
- Adding a bathroom
- And so much more

To help, I have finished the next report, “Getting More Space, Without Adding On”.  It is all about ways of using what you, have more efficiently.  Instead of adding on to your home, maybe just rethinking a few things might be the way to go.

First, you need to identify the reason why you want to remodel.  This sounds simple, but you might discover that you are trying to solve a problem that could be handled differently.

Once you have the reason, then ask yourself a few questions:

-Is the reason temporary or permanent?
-Are there any zoning laws that prevent me from doing this project? (i.e., Remodeling the basement, adding a deck.)
-Will the proposed changes affect me selling the house?

There is a lot more in this report.  Check it out and let me know what you think by leaving comments.

If you have not got them yet, here are the 8 videos on Saving Money on a Remodeling Project, plus there is bonus content.  “How Not to Get Taken by a Contractor”.  Watch the videos to see how to get it.

Thanks for your time and please leave comments and let me know what you think.
